The Canton Tigers pick up a pair of road wins.

The Canton Lady Tigers showed why they have a top-ten ranking in the state as they jumped out to a 21-2 lead after one quarter of play and led 36-11 going into halftime. Canton extended their lead to 63-15 after 3 quarters and picked up the win by a margin of 67-21. Jessi Hill led the Brashear scoring efforts with 8 points, Hailee Kelsey added 7, and Stephanie Elsea, Emily Ladwig, and Caroline Slavin scored 2 points each. For Canton, Tori Niemann had 19 points, Kelsey Owsley and Jessie Logsdon had 11 each, Danielle Caldwell added 9, Aron Taylor and Lindsey Lillard had 4 each, Kristyn Caldwell scored 3, and Audrey Redmon, Emily Lay, and Kara Uhlmeyer scored 2 points each.

In the boys' game, Canton jumped out to a 17-7 lead after one quarter and led 35-26 going into halftime. Brashear's Kale Watson had an 11 point third quarter to put Brashear up 50-49 after 3 periods of play. Brashear held a 53-49 lead in the early 4th quarter, but Josh Fellinger sank a 2 and a pair of 3's and Canton had the lead. 13 4th quarter Canton free throws sealed the deal and Canton held on of the 70-62 win. Brashear scoring honors were shared by Trae Treasure and Kale Watson with 19 points each, Kiley Watson added 11, Justin Hazen had 6, Ryan Ferdig had 4, and Matt Thomas scored 3 points. Canton was paced by Josh Fellinger with 25 points, Drew Ayers had 11, Nathan Uhlmeyer had 8, Justin Ellison and Colt Carper had 6 points each, Paul Ricketts and Andrew Redmon had 5 each, and Josh Lee scored 4 points.
